BuildData Group AB reported that it has hired Maria Hudson as Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As a seasoned professional and marketing stalwart, Maria has held key senior positions across software, services, and construction tech sector companies for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience to the group.
Having led global marketing teams at SDL, Acision, Mavenir and Sensat, at BuildData Maria will be responsible for marketing initiatives across the Zutec, Createmaster and Bond Bryan Digital brands, as the organisation moves to its next stage of growth. In this role, Maria will build brand equity and awareness, while delivering compelling and highly integrated campaigns to key global audiences and buyers, bringing solutions to market and supporting sales. This will include everything from corporate and go-to-market strategies, account based and digital marketing, demand generation, events, as well as media and analyst relations.
Maria stated, “The residential market is ripe for the picking right now as it embraces construction management software. I am therefore excited to be joining BuildData as we double down on growth. I have been consistently impressed by BuildData’s performance over the last eight quarters, and we now have a huge opportunity ahead. Not only to shape the residential sector when it comes to their use of technology, but also make a difference in terms of how they manage their projects across the whole building lifecycle.”
“With vast amounts of experience and knowledge across her domain, we are delighted to have Maria join the BuildData family, helping to create a market-leading sales and marketing function while building market-leading brands. Having spent much of her career brand building across the globe, Maria will bring rigour to this role as we work towards being the best in the residential sector for construction tech,” said Gustave Geisendorf, CEO of BuildData.
