French cloud service company OVH Cloud announced on the 17th that it has filed a complaint with the European Union (EU) European Commission that Microsoft is doing anti-competitive acts in the cloud business.
The allegations were filed months ago by three European cloud companies, including OVHcloud, according to people familiar with the matter. Microsoft claims that cloud services make it difficult to switch to other companies through contracts and other means.
“We continue to look at ways to best assist our partners, and we’re working to make our software available to our customers in all environments, including cloud service users from other companies,” a Microsoft spokeswoman said.
